Returns Policy
Trading Rags Vintage is committed to providing carefully curated, accurately described vintage clothing and accessories. As our pieces are vintage, pre-loved and generally one of a kind, please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Vintage Condition
Unless otherwise stated, all items sold by Trading Rags Vintage are vintage or pre-loved.
Due to their age and previous use, vintage pieces may show minor signs of wear, ageing or variation. These characteristics are part of the nature of vintage clothing and are not necessarily considered faults.
We take care to:
• Inspect and accurately describe each item
• Disclose any notable flaws or damage
• Provide garment measurements as a guide
• Include photographs showing the item as accurately as possible
Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.
Customers are responsible for reading the full description and checking all measurements before purchasing. Vintage sizing often differs from modern sizing.
No Returns for Change of Mind
Trading Rags Vintage does not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind, incorrect fit or personal preference.
Please read the item description, review all photographs and check the provided measurements carefully before purchasing. Vintage sizing often differs from modern sizing.
Minor signs of age or wear that have been disclosed or are consistent with the item’s described vintage condition are not considered faults.
Faulty or Significantly Not as Described Items
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If an item has a major problem, an undisclosed fault or is significantly different from its description or photographs, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@tradingrags.com.au.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where applicable.
We will assess the issue and provide return instructions where required. Please do not return an item before contacting us.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, an identical replacement may not be available.
When an item is confirmed to have a qualifying fault, reasonable return postage costs will be covered by Trading Rags Vintage. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
