Vintage rug vest by Hester Designs, originally sold through Santa Fe Dry Goods in New Mexico. Made from an antique kilim rug textile, estimated to be around 40 years old, giving it a structured feel and one of a kind pattern throughout.
The fabric is densely woven with traditional geometric patterns in earthy tones. Each panel shows variation from the original textile, adding to the character of the piece.
It features a straight fit with an open front and a pair of hand cast sterling silver concho clasps with leather ties. The vest is fully lined in rayon.
