Vintage brown velvet skirt with a dramatically high fitted waist and a full, softly structured shape. The deep chocolate brown velvet has a smooth pile that changes slightly in tone as it catches the light.
The upper section is closely fitted through the waist and hips, extending into a pointed yoke at the centre front. A row of five brown buttons fastens along one side.
Angled pockets sit at both sides and are incorporated neatly into the panelled construction. Below the fitted upper section, the fabric is gathered into a wide, full skirt that falls to approximately mid calf.
The back is shaped with a broad curved yoke that sits securely around the waist and upper hips.
