A striking 1990s Bisou Bisou evening set by Michele Bohbot, made in New Zealand. The set includes a long black stretch velvet dress and matching fitted jacket, both printed with rich purple and grey florals.
The dress has a simple fitted silhouette that follows the body before falling into a long straight skirt. Fine shoulder straps frame the neckline, while the back is finished with multiple slender straps crossing across the open back.
The matching jacket is cut close to the body with long sleeves and the same purple and grey floral print with a generous shaggy wool collar. Wool has a hint of purple.
Bisou Bisou was created by designer Michele Bohbot and became particularly recognised for its feminine and glamorous designs during the 1990s. Made in New Zealand and labelled size 10, this is a lovely example of 1990s evening fashion with a distinctly glamorous feel.
