A striking 1960s maxi coat by Mark Shaw Melbourne, made from rayon in an all-over floral pattern of olive green, lime, brown and warm ochre.
The coat has a fitted shape through the bodice before falling into a long, gently flared skirt. A wide collar frames the neckline, with four decorative brown frog-style fastenings through the front.
The richly patterned rayon fabric gives the coat plenty of visual impact, while long sleeves, side pockets and the sweeping maxi length complete the silhouette. The coat is fully lined in warm rust-brown rayon.
